ImpACt testing sign-up
All high school student athletes MUST have a current, valid baseline ImPACT test before participating in athletics at Saugatuck High School. A current baseline is one that has been completed in the last 2 academic years beginning in high school. All incoming freshman, new or transfer students will need to sign up for testing. All incoming juniors or anyone who does not have a current test will also need to sign up for testing. If your student-athlete is already in Final Forms, automatic emails will be sent to remind you if your test is about to expire. Please check your email regularly.
Testing this summer is taking place June 24th (8am or 12pm), June 29 (8am or 12pm), June 30 (8am or 11am), or July 1 (8am or 12pm). Please contact Jacob Schultz ([email protected]) in order to sign up for a time slot because spaces are limited.

What is this for?
The ImPACT test is a baseline test of brain function that will be used if an athlete sustains a concussion to help determine if any brain function is impaired.
I took this two years ago, why do I have to take it again?
Because brains in high school develop at such a quick rate, that it is recommended that athletes be tested every 2 years to ensure that baseline tests reflect where the brain is currently functioning.
How long will the test take and do I need to bring anything?
The test will take approximately 1 hour, start to finish. Parents DO NOT need to stay for the test, and you do not need to bring anything with you.
Where is the MAC lab at Saugatuck High School?
If you walk in through the front entrance and turn left when the hall splits 3 ways, then follow that hall until your last left turn is available and it will be the first immediate door on your left.
